Hi Sandy!  I hope you are doing well and recovering nicely.  Haven't seen any posts about your surgery, but I hope everything went by the book!  Congrats and welcome to the ride of your life!

Thanks Lisa, I am doing pretty good, I was release from the Hospital on Wed night around 7:30 or so.  I had very little pain in the Hospital but they put pain meds in the IV and I also had the morphine pump.    I gained 15 lbs with all the fluids they pushed into me at the Hospital and today is the first time I have that 15 lbs back off.  My DH was impressed with the removal of my drain it was a lot longer than he thought it would be, of course I was no****ching,  I am on clear fluids until Monday then I can start all Liquids and puree,  I see Dr K on Thursday.  Oh and gas pains waited until I got home to show up and cause grief.

Isn't is mind boggling the amount of fluids they pump into you? I thought I was swollen befor surgery, Lawd after it wow. Congrats on your surgery hope you have a speedy speedy recovery!

Glad you're doing well!  That drain tube is the devil!  You're lucky you got yours out so soon!
