I got my newest labs back!  I'm off the Zocor now!!!!!  Check out these results:

Cholesterol numbers:

Total                     174                         95 (actually low)

HDL                      38                           35 (still low)

A1C                        7.2                        6.6 (on half my Metformin dose)

Isn't that amazing, Michelle?  How awesome...and such a relief, huh?  I haven't had any labs like that drawn since my RNY so it will be really neat to compare them when I do.  You're doing GREAT!  And how I love it that your posts exude that you are FEELING great!  :)

Congratulations!! There are sooo many ways to measure the successes associated with the transformation you are undergoing and this is fabulous way to recognize that it's not all about what we weigh or what size clothes we wear.
