My Ring Story

Where the heck is that hot young man-slave?? I know he's here somewhere lol

OMG I was cleaning the kitchen last night and the hot young man slave came in holding something.. NO NOT THAT!!!!

It was my pinky ring!! He found it on the bathroom floor! He gave it to me on our 10th anniversary. Sapphires and diamonds. I love it!! It is not in the jewelry box until I can
get a sizer or something!!

My diamond and band are getting loose also. He gave me the diamond on our 5th anniversary when I was diagnosed with MS. It is very special to me. It's not too loose yet but I'm gonna keep a close watch on it!!

Mine were almost sliding off just this past week.  I went to walmart and bought little plastic ring resizers for now.  I have the smallest ones on my set and it has them fitting fine.  Took a bit to get used to it, and someday want to get something else I heard of that squeezes out onto the ring and hardens where it just fills in what area you need.  This works fine and so cheaply for now to keep me from losing them and being able to wear them.  I can't wait until the day I have lost the weight and am stable so I can see what it takes to resize them down, hopefully many sizes!

Saprina,  I'm so glad those ring sizers are going to work for you for now.  I don't know why, but I've always had a hard time with rings that were too large or thick...maybe my fingers sit close together?  lol

WOW!! I'm so happy for you that's awesome!!!

And you gave me a wonderful idea of a Vacation Ring.

I think I will have to talk my husband into that later on.

Wow! Those rings must be something else!! I love jewelry and the thought of losing something like my wedding rings scares me to death! I love my rings too!!!

My wedding rings are actually very simple, small, and inexpensive.  Hubby has hinted on several occasions that I should upgrade someday, but I love them so much because they remind me of how our life together started.  The older I get, and the longer we are married (23 years now), the more sentimental I am about them!
