Couch 25k - Are You Exercising Today?
Hey to all...
In our arsenal of tools to help us on our journey, we know that exercise is very important.
I will freely admit as much as I know that, exercise is the absolute last thing I want to do!
3yrs out and the scale is creeping up, so back to basics, what I already knew but refused to do.
Sooooo I found couch25k and it has been a good option for me to move. Completed week 4 day 3 today. So far, the pace has been alternating between jogging and walking. Up to jogging for 5 minutes at a time. next week it goes up to 8, and on day 3 the program has the nerve to bump that up to 20 minutes!
It has been a true struggle to get up off the couch. I miss my couch!
I do not miss the former me. I am much happier working on maintaining my wls achievements thus far, and seeking to lose even more.
So I will continue to run...run...run....This is not a race; there is no finish line; but there is some wonderful milestones along the way where we can celebrate the 'roses' on our journey!
So, what's your plan for exercising today?
If I am gonna eat like a fat girl, then I gotta workout like a skinny girl!
