Couch 25k - Are You Exercising Today?

Hey to all...

In our arsenal of tools to help us on our journey, we know that exercise is very important.  

I will freely admit as much as I know that, exercise is the absolute last thing I want to do!

3yrs out and the scale is creeping up, so back to basics, what I already knew but refused to do. 

Sooooo I found couch25k and it has been a good option for me to move. Completed week 4 day 3 today. So far, the pace has been alternating between jogging and walking. Up to jogging for 5 minutes at a time. next week it goes up to 8, and on day 3 the program has the nerve to bump that up to 20 minutes!

It has been a true struggle to get up off the couch. I miss my couch!

I do not miss the former me. I am much happier working on maintaining my wls achievements thus far, and seeking to lose even more.

So I will continue to run...run...run....This is not a race; there is no finish line; but there is some wonderful milestones along the way where we can celebrate the 'roses' on our journey!

So, what's your plan for exercising today?

Good Morning Valerie,
The past two days I have been doing week 3 today I will be working but I have to stand for 5 hours and am moving all over the store.
Even doing this I am burning calories so on my work days I look at it as working out just a little different from my norm.

That's ok. You will be moving in some capacity so that's the best thing!
