6 Month Surgiversary Today
My Dr.'s goal was for me to lose 50% EBW by 6 months out which would mean -75 pounds with a goal weight of 135.
My personal goal weight is 155 before plastics, hence -65.2 pounds to reach a 50% loss of my EBW.
So, OCD or not, I am feeling pretty derned successful with -67 pounds lost as of today!!!
Can't wait to take my measurements this evening and we are going to take progress photos before we head to the playoff game tomorrow. Hope to get those posted this weekend.
I have to admit, there have been a lot of head games for me in regards to the scale. It took me up until about a month ago to be okay with the fact that I am the tortoise in this race and now I have actually now grown to love and embrace that!
At the playoff game on Wednesday, I was at the concession stand getting our son a drink when someone comes up behind me and says, "Look at that *skinny butt*!" I turned around and saw I was the only one there! Me?! lol It feels so good to receive such compliments!
Wishing everyone much success and happiness in this journey! {{{Big Hugs}}} to all!

67 lbs lost sounds good to me as a pre-op. Keep up the good work. Jackie
It is not the magnitude of our actions but the amount of love that is put into them that matters.

Jackie, At 285 pounds pre-op, 218 would have sounded pretty good to me too! Heck, I could not wait to get back down to 230. After years and years of trying, I decided enough was enough. Thank goodness for weight-loss surgery. Sending you lots of good wishes and I will look forward to welcoming you to the loser's bench, hopefully soon!
