Extremely good news!!
Well today I went for my 1 month check up with Dr. Mann and I was a little worried because I have not been able to exercise like I wanted for the past couple weeks due to breathing problems because of, from what I found out today, a growth is on my vocal cords due to having acid reflux before surgery so bad. The ENT said that I needed to get back on meds for that so now I am on prevacid (They dissolve in my mouth) and Zantac (I can crush them). But now things are a little better cause I know whats going on. Anyways back to the good part. I found out today that in 1 month I have lost 35 POUNDS!!!! OMGoodness, I can not believe it! It took me a year and a half to lose 21 pounds and because of this godsend called Gastric Bypass surgery, I lost 35 pounds in 1 month. I am absolutely exstatic right now!! Thank you lord for this tool to help me!!

Hi Emelinda,
Congratulations on your phenomenal weight loss. It's truly astounding! I'm sorry to hear that you have been experiencing some difficulties with acid reflux, but I'm sure that the Rx's you've been given will put that to be soon.
Wishing you continued success,
Barbara

Sorry to hear about your complications! But excited for your 35 pound loss.
I'm frustrated b/c I've not noticed a change on the scale in over a week, but on the flip side, I can tell in the mirror and in my clothes.
Hope you get healed soon and can start your exercising. I have found that I LOVE it now!

It is not the magnitude of our actions but the amount of love that is put into them that matters.

Emelinda, Sorry to hear you are having the acid reflux issue, but am glad to hear you have a treatment plan. Hope that takes care of things! Is that the hope? Should that growth disappear on it's own?
Congratulations on your 35 pounds gone forever! I have tried so very hard for almost 20 years to get back down to the 210's through diet and exercise, to no avail whatsoever, and here I am already there within 6 months after my RNY!!!!!! I can't believe how much this tool is allowing me to reclaim my life and reembrace myself. I am sooo excited for you and your journey!

Acid reflux is just no fun but finding out that 35 pounds are already gone forever is more than enough to make up for it I bet. I know as the weight goes away the acid reflux will get so much better and your throat will get better too. I am very happy for you.
