Hello everyone.  I would love to meet more people in NC who are on the same journey as my self.  I am currently trying to get my surgery approved.  I am seeing Dr Enoch in Apex.  I have completed all my pre-op testing and now I am just waiting and seeing... 

I hope to have my surgery in June.  I am also a mother of two young boys.  Nice to meet everyone..

I wanted to add .. is anyone going to the rex support group meeting at the end of this month?

Even though I cannot attend, there is a support group meeting tomorrow at Perkins near 440.  This group meets once a month.  Great people.

Hi Kelly, I too am in Raleigh.  I am scheduled for my RNY on June 8 with Dr. Enochs.  I met with him this past Tuesday for my results visit.  I'm getting really excited for my new life to begin!

That is great!  How long after you did your hospital tests did you have to wait for an appt to schedule your surgery?  I know you are excited!  I can't wait to hear back from the insurance company.  Were they good about calling you or did you need to call them?  Sorry for all the questions.  Also are you planning on going to Rex next week or have you already been to a required meeting?

I had my surgery with Dr. Enochs on May 4th at Rex. Although I am less than two weeks out, I could not be happier with the procedure. The care at Rex was outstanding. Good luck with yours.
