Thanks Barb!  Ive missed you guys, but life has been insanely crazy.  Kaleigh is on 3 softball teams and we are on the go all of the time.  I am going to be in Greensboro mid July and would love to meet somewhere halfway to have dinner!

Jennifer,  Great to see you!  I have been watching for an update from you about how softball is going.  :)  Sounds like Kaleigh is keeping ya'll busy!  What position does she play? 

Cait had a fabulous freshman year.  She caught every JV game.  Ended the season with throwing 11 out of 12 girls out stealing base and only had 1 pass ball.  The pass ball and 1 failed throwdown happened at the very end of the season...so she was like, "Oh man!  So close!"  lol  She also ended with a 412 batting average.  We are very proud of her!  

Cait is trying out for another travel team this Sunday.  It would be really neat to catch you all at a tournament this summer.  I will have to PM you our schedule when I know more to see if we will be crossing paths any.  Hope you keep cool and enjoy!

Kaleigh is still catching. She is playing Dixie League and still playing on the Travel Team.  She subs in for a 2nd Dixie Team and catches for all three.  :)  We dont keep up with stats with the 8U group, but during a double header last week she hit 3 homeruns and caught 2 pop flys.  She is really coming into her own.  I am very proud of her.

If you guys ever play at Rocky River or Flowe Park in Concord it would be very likely we could cross paths.  Our schedules are here http://www.ncaausoftball.com/ and our team is the Fireballs.  :)  Let me know if you guys are coming this way!!

Congrats to Cait on such a great season.  Our Middle School Team played for the state championships this week, but fell short.  :) 

Oh that is so great!  I know you are just beaming with pride for your daughter.  :)  When they are on the field, it's like they are playing in the Olympics, isn't it?  lol  Hope she continues to grow and has an awesome season.  If we are ever heading to Concord, I will definitely let you know.  The travel team Cait is trying out for on Sunday is less than 1.5 hours from Concord, so I'd say it's a definite possibility.  :)  Our HS ladies play their first state playoff game next Tuesday and they are taking Cait.  Keep your fingers crossed for them!  I've already said if they make it to State in Raleigh, I am so calling together all of my OH brothers and sisters out that way for a meetup!  ;)

I am proud of her.  She keeps telling me she wants to play softball through college and I am all for that!  I am the "crazy softball mom" for sure!  There are lots of teams that come to Concord for the tourneys.  We just got our brackets and we are playing all games in one day.  Tomorrow will be LONG. 

Good luck tomorrow!  Yes, it will be a long day, but I enjoy the tournaments like that.  Have one long day on Saturday then Sunday to recooperate at home!  :)  Again, GOOD LUCK!
