Friday I made a stop at a local store to buy some ice and ran into a friend from long ago.
He did not know it was me until he heard me talk.
While talking to him another friend came over she owns a hair salon next door.
Long story short the lady from the salon had wls 5 years ago.
OMG I have heard about people regaing and sure enough she had regained some weight since I last saw her.
Maybe for me see this will help me stay on the right track.
I know what I must do each and everyday.
I have very fresh memories of being SMO and remember just how sick I was and having to take 4 shots a day.

Hi Annie,

I know that many think that losing the weight is the hardest thing to do. While I agree that it is a significant challenge, I think that maintaining the weight loss is the real challenge. We are not 'successful' just because we lose the weight. The success is in maintaining the hard won losses. I think that if you talked with your friend, you might find that she hasn't been exercising, attending support group meetings, logging her intake or activity. We both know that it requires significant lifestyle changes to maintain the weight losses and I believe that you'll make it in the long term!

Hi Barb,
I plan on going to talk to Pam next week and I bet you are 100% correct on you perception.
I think she had her surgery at Duke maybe she could join us sometime at a meetup.
See you and Ben this Saturday.
