im new to the game, but excited.

hello  everyone. I'm just getting started. need to know if anyone had their surgery done by Dr Carl Lowe? I'm getting the bypass done. scared but excited. i just got my paper work ,my appt. is June 3. that is my initial visit. i have all this paper work , and need 200.00 dollars just to do the initial visit . is that OK?

I am pre-op and in Charlotte, but have not heard anything about Dr Lowe

You can do a search for Dr. Lowe by doing to the 'Find a Surgeon' link just above and you will find reviews on him from other members. You can often click on the members avatar and send them a private message if you want more information or clarification. Most are very glad to share their experience with you.

The fee that you mentioned is actually pretty common and on the lower end of the scale from what I recall. I had my surgery done at DukeWLS and had to pay a $250. fee. I think that one of the surgeon's here in Raleigh charges $400 or $500, so I think the $200 fee sounds like it is definitely in line if not, on the lower end.
