OT: OMG It never ends

Excuse me but I've come here solely to rant and rage!!!! I really would like to go sit in the corner and cry right now. Yall know I'm a single mom of 2 teenage sons. My oldest is generally the calm, collected - "good" son. His name is Buddy (actually Kevin, Jr.) and my youngest (Wayne) is normally my "wild" child and has had his share of trouble. Well - Bud got in some trouble a few months ago and had to go to court today. So he went ot court and got community service yada yada yada. He called me on his way to his car relieved that it was behind him. I was semi-impressed that he had taken the adult route - faced the punishment and was handling it himself. He got stopped by a deputy backing out of his parking spot who said they needed to search his vehicle that the drug dog had hit on it in a random check. 7 deputies searched his car. He got a possession of marijuanna charge for 1 pot seed. He got a paraphenalia charge for an empty package of rolling papers and a concealed weapons charge for someone elses tazer type thing being in the side pocket of the passenger side door. OMG!!!!!!! I so want to kill him. But then again I so want this all to just go away.

I wonder why I have another ulcer?????????? I just had to get this off my chest. Thanks for listening.

Sorry that it is 'raining' over there Iris.

I don't have any children, so no profound words of experience can be offered. Just a big [[[[[hug]]]]] and a shoulder to sigh on!

Seems like if it isn't one thing it is another. I'll be praying that the infractions are deemed minor and that you both stay encouraged!

Rant and rave all you need too, especially if it will help redcue the anxiety and keep that ulcer in check!

everytime i have ever had an issue with my kids.. id mention it to my mom and shed say "karma" and smile..

My oldest went thru stuff.  Not the same stuff, but stuff.  I know where you are and it really stinks.  It sucks and it blows and worst of all you are helpless to do anything but rant.  OMG it seems so unfair. 
Hang in there.  Like you said, it was just a seed and rolling papers.  As far as the tazer thing... well, who knows.  I thought you could carry them?

I wish I could say something that would ease your stress and pain. I'm so sorry that you and he are going through this... I hope that it all works out for you and him. 

 

He needs to learn how to clean out the car better.

Iris, I'm so sorry.  I know you are stressed.  It's hard to realize that things with kids will get worse than they are now (with a 9 and 6 year old) but everyone tells me it will.  ((((((hugs))))))

I never had any kids so I dont have any *parent* advice... I just want to say I am sorry you are going through this mess. I think it is petty to charge him with ONE pot seed. I was born and raised in California and the laws are much more *relaxed* then out here when it comes to pot. I am not saying I am a pot smoker, the stuff never did do anything for me lol My brother has a medical prescription for marijuanna usage. I am sure Bud also feels the pain and embarresement of this all, besides we all learn from our mistakes
