ROTFL!  Well, no, PetitePrincess just won't do now will it?!  :)  One of my daughter's best friends is a freshman in HS and just hit 6'.  She is still growing and her doctor is predicting at least another inch or two.  And I thought our girl was tall at 5'8"...NOT!  :)

I second the "PrettyPrincess" name nomination!

I know you are going to Cary for your surgeon but the support group at Nash Hospital in Rocky Mount is open to anyone considering WLS or has had WLS. It just so happens that this months meeting is tonight at 6PM if you are interested. I'm going to my first meeting there tonight too. I usually go to the Raleigh Area WLS Group every month. Our next meeting is May 16th at 10AM at the Golden Corral on Millbrook Road in Raleigh.

If you want to come we would love to have you. BarbaraC is our group organizer. There is more information at this website if you are interested:

I'm so glad you have joined OH and just remember we are all reaching for the same goal---and we can help each other reach it.

Hey Jordan, Its good to see you posting on here. Believe me, the people on here is very supportive. The day I came home from the hospital and checked on here, I saw so many people asking if I was ok and everything. I was so touched that I started crying. As long as you have a good support group, you can get through anything.
Just a little heads up about me, I don't have the trach anymore  I can actually talk now. Not alot but enough for people to know what I am saying..lol I am in no pain at all. Well, just a little pain. Only on the left side where the big instrument was. But that pain is barely there anymore.

So anyways, you have my number and if you ever wanna talk, just call me up. I can tell you everything that happened. Take care and know I am here for ya!!
