Introduction
Hey Michelle,
I live in Clyde. I actually went thru the program at Hickory and had lap band in January. I work for Buncombe County DSS.
Good luck with your surgery. You will have pain but each day does get easier. The best advise. Sip, Sip, sip and walk, walk, walk.
I will private message you my phone number and you are welcome to call me anytime since we are a hop, skip and a jump from each other.
Tamara

Michelle,
It's great getting to know you better! Now who told you that this is the best forum out there?
I gave you the low-down on my human children in the PM and I can't believe I didn't include my fur-babies. Everyone who knows me knows they are my children too! First, we have my dear Madeline (Maddie), a havanese lhasa apso. She is my BUDDY...my best friend for sure! Then we have Vivienne (Viv/Vivie), a kitten I raised by hand from 3 weeks who is now 6 months. Everyone here got to see photos of her growing up initially...I'm long overdue to post a recent one! :) She's also a big mama's girl. Don't know what I'd do without either one of them at this point. :) Ya'll know what I mean!
Our 9yo begs for a Golden and I am very intrigued by Italian Greyhounds. You'll have to share with me what it's like to be a mommy to them.
Can't believe you and Tamara already know one another! Mika, from Weaverville, is trying to pull together a small, local support group. The one at Mission is huge so maybe you'd be interested in the smaller one also. I'm sure she'll see your post and get in touch, otherwise, let Tamara or I know and we'll get you the info. :)
Can't wait to hear from you that you are safe on the bench and ready to join us in this wild ride! {{{Hugs!!!}}}

Hi Michelle and Welcome! I'll be thinking about you tomorrow. I'm sure it will go great. Edwards probably can do it in his sleep.
I had surgery at Mission by Bradshaw 2 months ago, a Vertical Sleeve. They treated me well. I live in Hendersonville. I'm glad to see another WNCer on the board there aren't many of us.
Best of luck! Let us know how its going as soon as you can.
