I saw Lisa W. in the hospital today!

She had her RNY yesterday and is doing FANTASTIC! 

While at Frye yesterday, I asked the nurse at the desk to point me to Lisa's family in the waiting room.  They are such sweet people...Lisa has an awesome supportive family behind her!  After failing to go through with my procedure, I went back downstairs to leave my phone number with Lisa's mom so she could call me with an update later.  I knew Lisa was still in surgery because they were holding the phone to Dr. Cook's ear while he was doing her surgery and talking to him about what to do with me...how ironic, huh?!  So Lisa's mom called me last night and said she was doing great...already walked 4 laps 4 different times! 

After going back to Frye today for my procedure, hubby wheeled me upstairs to Lisa's room so I could check on her before heading home.  She looks so good!  It's just super exciting to see her at the beginning of her journey and to know how much her life is going to change in just the next few months!

I nearly fell over when I saw your post, because I thought that you were referring to Lisa_W, who has her WLS in 07/07.

Too crazy that there are two Lisa W. 's here......lol. No, so glad it is not me having surgery of any sorts right now. Glad the other Lisa is starting her journey and doing well.  Hope you guys are all well too. I need to get my sorry butt in gear and start posting again! I have been SO busy as of late. I have only been to work out once in the last three weeks and the scales are not being nice. I know that for me I need that exercise along with better eating. I will be glad when things calm down a bit. This is my busy time with concerts and all. Have one tonight as a matter of fact. They did well at rehearsal and I was a proud teacher. Hopefully I can get back on track with my eating program. How is everybody????????????? Only 7 more weeks till Morgan's due date. Can you believe it? Hope to see you all soon.

Oopsies!  I didn't even think about it when I was posting it!  I would crack up if ya'll have the same last name.  hehehe

Great to "see" you Lisa!  Our year also got much more hectic a few months back and I've been making an effort lately to have some internet time for myself.  Hopefully you can find some time soon too and I also hope your student's concert is a hit!  :)
