Multiple gall stones - X-post

The doctor says I have multiple gallstones.  If I should spike a fever and/or have uncontrollable vomiting go to the ER.  Stick to low fat diet - that's no fun!

I leave for TX tomorrow AM.  My Mom has a 'fast growing mass on her lung'.  She needs a fine needle biopsy, but has to stop her coumadin for 5 days prior.  The doctor has only told Mom that she has a 'spot' on her lung.

I am not thinking about my gall bladder until I get back from Texas.  I'm not having surgery until I win the lottery or I turn 65, whichever comes first.

Oh gosh, Grammy.  So sorry to hear about your troubles.  I am just now starting again to control some digestive issues with a very strict diet and you are right...that's no fun!  :)

Wishing you a very safe trip and hoping that your mother's testing goes well with good results.  Take good care of yourself and keep us posted about both of you when you can.  {{{Hugs}}}

Thanks, everyone for your kind thoughts.  I am off to the airport in about 30 minutes.

I will try to take care of me AND Mom.  And my Sis.  She is bi-polar and suffers from panic attacks, like Mom.  However, Sis has her meds under better control.
