I'm not able to do the workouts just yet -- I'm on clears right now and barely getting in enough cals to stay awake.  I'll catch up, though!

Brisk five-minute warmup walk. Then alternate 60 seconds of jogging and 90 seconds of walking for a total of 20 minutes.

Hey Andrea...

Hang in there. We'll be waiting for ya!

I posted my results but since I am a new poster, my posts have to be reviewed first so they do not show up til hours later.

Made it through day 2! My lower left leg reminded me I am no light feather but it did not pain me to where I needed to stop. Will definitely plan in some stretching and rest in between.

Rest up and join when you can!

Ready to try this again today.
Yesterday my knee hurt some and took it easy.
Took my mom to the pool and it seemed the water helped my knee it was amazing.
Take care of yourself and I know that in no time you will be jogging with us.

Hey girl,

Then you can start out with me then.  I had said all along - what with intermittent knee pain and the ruptured lower back disc - that I would wait until I reached 200 pounds before starting the C25K.  I still think I need to stick to that.  So just remember that if you need to step back a little while, I'm here with ya.  Besides, since you have to hate me on principle, maybe that will be extra motivation for you.  LOL

So what's with the set back to clears?  Between being busy as hell with new job, buying a house, and being out to town, I guess I missed that.  You doin' ok?  I'm concerned about you.

I really haven't discussed it in detail much, so it's not like you've missed it.

Apparantly, I had quite a bit of scar tissue around my pouch.  I feel fine (well, I did.. today, I've had a few twinges which is unusual) in terms of the actual surgery unless Daniel is walking on me (or falling on me as is his norm).. but everytime I ate or drank ANYTHING, it HURT.  It started as discomfort and just got worse.

So the PA at the surgeon's office figured I needed to take it easy due to the trauma of removing all the adhesions (I'm guessing from pouch to abdominal wall) and that leaves me another few days of clears.  Then I guess I am supposed to move to full liquids.

I've cheated JUST a tad.. had some milk in my coffee two days, and limited amount of chicken twice.. but I've been pretty good.
