I took my mom to the pool today and on our way home she said she would like to take Lee and I out to dinner for my birthday.
So I have thought of Red Lobster,Squd's and The Melting Pot keeping in mind while looking at the menues about how much food I can eat which isnt much.
I know my mom cant eat much either so maybe one of these places would be willing for mom and I to split a plate.
Any ideas would be good.

Hey Annie, it's Valerie...

Happy Birthday to you, the new you!

I have not eaten at the restaurants you mentioned so I cannot offer any help there. Hubby usually finished his dinner and mine too if I choose not get a take out container so we eat wherever.

Hope you find a great place and enjoy the meal! Take some home to enjoy later!

If I am gonna eat   like a fat girl, then I gotta workout   like a skinny girl!

Red Lobster - YUMMY!!!! Oscar the Pouch loves seafood and has yet to act up when fed shrimp, crabs, scallops or fish. Can you say doggie bag????

Enjoy your big day & let us know where you end up going.

I think the Melting Pot sounds great! I have not thought about that place since my surgery-but its a great pouch friendly menu! I'll bet the cheese fondue will love Bubbles! and You might be able to have a little chocolate fondue on a strawberry or banana slice.  Because  the whole dinner takes a good amount of time your pouch can rest, too. Let me know-maybe we can go together sometime!

OH My Debbie The Melting Pot is somehwere I went before surgery and I thought is was GREAT!!!!
I think everyone has agreed on PAZZO! TRATTORIA & PIZZERIA in Southern Village I know they have a wonderful spinach salad with oysters that is very pouch friendly.
Wait till you see what we have been doing in the yard next time you are over this way.
WE followed through with your advice about transplanting the azaleas in the back and putting them in the front.
I am happy to say I have transplanted the herbs to the back flower box.
Lee has seeded and fertilized front and back and even tilled up the bare spot in the back.
As always thanks for your wonderful advice and help.
