I'm married!!!!

Hi all!!   Scott and I tied the knot on Friday, April 24, 2009 in a very intimate ceremony with just the two of us at a beautiful little chapel in Gatlingburg, TN.  We had perfect weather, albeit a bit windy, a beautiful ceremony, and a wonderful few days to ourselves in the beautiful Smoky Mountains.  We had a great time and just got home a while ago.  I've posted a few pics on my page if anyone is interested in taking a look.  These are not the "official" photos from the chapel.  We won't have those until a few more days.  These are just some shots we took after the ceremony at a local park with our own camera.  We are very happy and excited to begin our married life together.

I almost forgot to tell you ~ to honor Scott's Mom, we bought 3 white helium balloons and each of us wrote a special message to her on one of the balloons and then on the 3rd one we wrote a message from the both of us.  Tied them all to a penny with a cross cut out of the center of it and let them fly up to heaven to her.  It was very touching and a beautiful way to pay tribute to such a wonderful women who means a lot to us both.

Thank you so much for your kind words and best wishes!!  I am still getting used to but loving the new initial!!     I really felt like a princess that day!!

I'm thrilled for you. I'm so glad the balloons worked out for you - it is such a wondeful feeling to watch them float away. The pictures are fantastic - yall look so incredibly happy.
