Couch to 5k Reminder -- we start on Monday!

I've decided that I'm going to assume a M, W, F running schedule and will post the day's running on that day.  That's not to say if you'd rather be a T, R, S runner that you're screwed out of the program -- just that you'll be tracking a day later.

THe key thing with this program is not to do it more than the 3x a week it suggests.  You need time to let your muscles get used to the stress, and it takes 24-48 hours for your muscles to recover.

So who's decided?  In?  Out?  Cmon -- you know you want to..

I would really like to do this.  I know that if the folks on Biggest Loser can run on the treadmill, I can too.  So, how does this work?  We check in every MWF to get our "assignment" for the day?  IfI have to be accountable to someone I know it will go better.  Thanks!

Come in on MWF and get the assignment, then post after you've done it on how well it went.

The first ones won't be so difficult -- but towards the end when we're jogging for 10 minutes at a time, I think some encouragement will be helpful!

Hi Andrea hope you are doing well since your surgery last Wednesday.
Yeah count me in on the 5k adventure.
Keep in mind I have no earthly idea how to run/jog and when I use my treadmill I always hold on mainly because I am still figuring out balance issues.

Hey all! It's Valerie! Told ya this would make me come out of the 'lurker' mode!

It's Monday and you know i am in! I got up early with the goal of doing the workout in the morning. I'll look for the post to let you know how it went this morning!
