Post your *most recent* WOW moment!

My wow is yesterdAy and today I was able to install and undergrund dog fence. This means I spent 2 days with my but in the air...stooped over pushing wire in a trench which I made with an edger. I could nver done that 16 months ago. I did not even know I had feet 16 months ago. I admit I am tired but I did 95% of the work on about 2 acres of yard.

My latest and greatest WOW ~ being able to wear a sleeveless dress for my wedding on Friday and not feeling like everyone was looking at me funny!!   Felt absolutely wonderful and I felt beautiful ~ something I haven't felt in a long, long time!!! 

Gerald and I went down to Marietta last Thursday for my 3 month check-up with my surgeon on Friday.  He is such a kind man, but not very "smiley".  He's always quite serious.  Well, when he told me that I've lost 43.4% of my excess weight in just 3 short months, I don't know who smiled bigger, him or me!  It felt SO good to get a smile out of that man, complete with an attagirl and "You're doing great!"

All I know is I sure do feel good!

My WOW moment... went shopping with my sister to look for a dress for my nieces college graduation. Saw a dress I absolutely lllooovvveeeddd, but it was a size 14. My sister insisted I could wear the 14, so I tried it on. It fit like it was made just for me. I was a 24/26 before surgery and still find myself looking in the women's section, now I can shop in misses. This is just incredible!!!!! I  my RNY.

My latest WOW..... Hmmmmm... I guess it was when my clothes rack fell off the wall and I decided to get rid of everything that was too big.  I gave a friend 2 lawn and leaf gargage bags full of clothes. In the process of cleaning up the closet I found a bag of clothes that I had put in a bag to take to the Women's shelter that were too small.  Hello..... I tried them on and they fit!!!! WOW!!

OK~~~  I didn't know!!! 

I went to PINKS ALL OUT this weekend in Charlotte.  I went up to the concession stand to order some Nachos and Cheese (I KNOW!!!)  But anyway the guy was smiling all funny and stuff.  I ordered the nachos and left.  My friend said, "he was so flirting with you!!". 

Oh well, I have not had that happen in so long I didn't even recognize it!  It was great though!!!
 

I wore my bathing suit all weekend long

I told David Friday night that I had intended to buy a new cover up at Walmart while we were there but I forgot so I'd just wear a tee shirt. He's so goofy - so he just looks at me like OK - Why? So Saturday morning I start out with my suit on but covered with shorts and a t-shirt. Little while later off comes the shirt but I wouldn't drop the shorts. Finally came out of the shorts and Woo Hoo!!!

I still wouldn't get in any pictures - even though I snapped tons of them this weekend. David realized that last night and told me that I was going to be in next weekends pictures whether I wanted to be or not. He also pointed out  that I was smaller than alot of the women who were at the boat ramp - certainly 2 that were wearing bikinis. That won't happen but I'm so proud of him for offering the encouragement.

I'm so sunburned today - but OMG it feels good.
