Good news about the trach

Today I found out that if everything is ok when I go to see Dr. Workman (ENT doctor) on the 28th, he is going to take the trach out. OMGoodness, I am so happy. Mainly because I miss talking but also because every since I got home and the neighbors kids found out I couldn't talk, they have been messing with my kids. My husband does say something to them but they don't really listen to him. But you just wait till I can talk again. Sh** is surely gonna hit the fan. In fact, one of the kids told my oldest son Joshua that he was gonna kill him before I would be able to talk again. WTH? Why would a kid say something like that to him? Joshua doesn't cause any trouble but he is like me and says how he feels. I guess I can put some blame on the childs mother becuase all she does is stay out all the time and smoke pot. She even said it loud enough for everyone to hear it. In a way I feel sorry for the little boy and his 2 siblings but he has no right at all to threaten my son like that. UGH it makes me so mad that I can't defend him right now. But in a few days, everyone is gonna know I can talk.

Ok sorry about the rant everyone. Just kind of got upset there. Anyways, I just wanted to share the good news. Lets keep our fingers crossed.

On a funny note, you all wanna know how I know I have lost some weight? I can actually reach my butt to clean it now instead of having to reach to like timbuctu or something. LMBO

Yeah, you know you reminded me of when I first came home and my hormones were RAGING! I really had no sympathy for stupid people. I let them know.  It has something to do with estrogen being released that was stored in fat cells.  You are in my prayers, Debbi

People here at work probably think I am nuts.  I am sitting in my office laughing about the butt wiping comments.  Too true though.  Enjoy the weekend, it is going to be beautiful.

Hey, you don't have to be able to talk to get your point across.  A mean look and a hand gesture says it all.  I know, I know we are talking about kids.  But it is a thought.  I am a school teacher and I can get my point across with one of those long down the nose looks that makes kids shrivel and die on the spot.  My students will say "Watch Out! She's got The Look going on!

I had to weigh in on this one LOL! I actually pulled muscles in my back at my heaviest because I was trying to reach my bottom to clean it properly. It was as painful as anything I can ever remember and that is saying alot. I had to use a cane to walk for over a month!. Being able to reach for hygienic purposes is so vital in so many ways.
I am so happy that the trachea is coming out so soon. I know you want to get back to some semblance of normal as soon as possible and that includes the balance of power in the neighborhood.
