home from gallbladder surgery
I am home. We did not get home until 6:30. My gallbladder surgery was outpatient. It was at 11:15. My heart rate was very low and they could not get it to come up. Because my heart rate was low they did not want to give me any pain medication. They did give me tramadol in the IV after I complained a bunch. Finally at 3:30 they gave me loratab and the anesthesiologist agreed to let me go home. of course it was another hour before I was discharged.
I left with my heart rate being between 45 and 50.
I am in a lot of pain too. I did get my prescription Lortab filled and just took some of it. I think I hurt workse with this than the lap band. YUCK!!
Dr did say that the gallbladder was inflamed and there was some infection around it. So glad to have it out and done with.
