A Freaky Weight Gain.....need some opinions

Hey Everyone
Hope this finds you all well and slimmer everyday.
I have a weight gain anomoly. On Friday i weighed 184.5, this morning I weighed 187.5. I did nothing out of the ordinary. I exercised, played golf and ate as I have been eating. Does this happen from time to time? The damp weather has left my back, knees & elbows quite swollen and sore so I am hoping this weight gain is from fluid being retained by my body.

Any insight would be appreciated.
Thanks so much
Dona

Sounds like fluid to me.  With me, fluid retention can sneak up real quick.  When my BP goes up so does my fluid retention.  I can't get my rings off, etc.  I decrease salt intake and increase water and the next day the weight is gone.

Good luck with this

Deborah

Hi Dona,

I'd just about bet the farm that it's fluid retention. I've had it happen and it is more than a little unnerving, but just stay with the program and you will continue to see positive results. I hope that you will be feeling better soon.

Warmly,

Barbara

Thank you so much for pulling me away from the "fire alarm"
I can say I did panic. I am drinking tons and making sure my sodium intake is low.

i think with it being such a small amount it is fluid, i gained five pounds due to a freaking kidney stone, my surgeon said once it passes my weight will start to fall off again.
So give it a little time, i hope the cold weather is gone for good, and warmer days are a head of us..
take care.

If I eat salty food..weight gain. Around monthly joy time ..weight gain, even since menipause. But it always go's away. So as the others have said...just follow the rules and you will loose. Good Luck!
