Bobby called me a short time ago.
Emelinda is not breathing on her own and will probally have the trah removed in 24 hours.
Please keep her in your prayers.
Last night I was thinking about wls and for now wls seems to be the answer for so many.
I hope in the future that helping obese people will get easier.
I know how much she wanted this surgery mainly so she will be around for her children.
I admire her courage and determination to become healthier.

I will remember Emelinda and her family in my prayers. I try to remember others who are having WLS in my prayers. Jackie
It is not the magnitude of our actions but the amount of love that is put into them that matters.

I am just curious did Dr. Mann do her surgery at Nash or Pitt? I know those docs operate at both hospitals. My prayers are with Emelinda and her family.

Annie,  I'm worried to pieces about Emelinda so I can't even imagine how you are feeling about her.  Thank you so much for the updates.  Sending tons of love and the best of wishes for her to be stable and recovering quickly very soon!  {{{Big Hugs}}} to you, Bobby and Emelinda!!!  Please keep the updates coming as often as you can.  Thanks again!

Annie,

Do you mean that she 'Now IS breathing on her own' and the trachea tube will be removed soon?

Please pass on our best wishes and prayers when you talk with her and her family.

Hi Barb,
I got a very scetchy report from Bobby yesterday late afternoon.
I understood him to say he was going back home.
I know transportation is difficult so I asked him if he would be returning soon he said yes.
All I can do is wait to hear more news.
I will give Emelindas mother in law a call this morning.

Hi Annie,

I didn't understand your response... Is she breathing on her own yet or not?
