Can I count it?
OK, this may seem like a silly question but I really want to know...
My highest weight at the surgeon's office was 251. I always weigh at home before getting in the shower, buck naked. This morning I weighed 201.6. Can I count this as my 50lb milestone? I don't know how close my scales are to the surgeon's but I know they are very close to the WW scales. I would really like to count this! Thanks for your input.

If those are the scales that you normally weigh on - then in my opinion - CONGRATULATIONS on making your 50 lb milestone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I go by my home scales.

Hi Ginny.
LOL You can do whatever you like... either way you will eventually get there... it's pretty hard to "beat" the surgery in the first year.
That being said, what I have done is to figure out on the day that I weigh in at the doctor's, what the difference is between my scale and his, clothes on, etc. That way, whatever I weigh at home, I add the 2 extra pounds his scale reads so I can feel "honest." It's either that, or be willing to ADD those 2 lbs to my ticker on my next weigh-in at the doc's and you know how eager we are to do that!! Whatever you decide to do, congratulations on your wonderful success so far. More to come!

ohhh good for you! I say count it. I weighed myself here at work. (I work at a clinic) and then went straight to my drs appt. There was no difference in weight. So, since the scales are the same, I always weigh myself here at work on Mondays. That makes it so easy for me. Good luck to you. You are doing a fabulous job!
