OT TRAGEDY
This is OT but there are friends needing your prayers. Last night a gunman shot and killed his girlfriend and then exchanged fire with 2 local sheriffs deputy, killing one and leaving another one in critical condition at Pitt Memorial Hospital. Both these young deputies were in their 20's with families. I know both of these families and my heart is just breaking for them. Such a loss.

As the parent of a police officer I feel like these young men are family in a distant sort of way. I have these officers and all the others that have been slain in the past few weeks in my prayers. More important I pray for their families. Any loss of life is horrific for them.

I cannot even fathom the tragedy facing the families involved in the mele. My heart and prayers go out to them all and you as well.
