The Stall from H_LL
I think it's probably the starvation mode ( hard to wrap my head around that possibility). there's no way I'll lessen the activity so I guess I'll look at adding a snack in the evenings and a few extra calories to my meals. I see a couple of places where I could change a few things around.
Thanks for the tips!! Tell Ben that we'll make it through this.

Hiya Iris,
Have you talked to Jennifer Elias as Dr. Macs office. She is great. She can help you figure out what your target intake range should be.
Believe me, I have been thru the stalls just like you and I can tell its a hard thing to come to grips with that you have to eat more. Don't dive off the deep end. Starvation mode can be easily overcome. Add in a few veggies or swap out the f/f stuff for a little of the good stuff every now and then. Maybe add a little pat of butter or olive oil here and there. You can easily up your daily calories 200-300 cals per day but just keep an eye on the sliders. Those can add lots of calories and lead you down and slippery path.
I was eating 1400 cals a day and burning 1000-1200 in exercise. When I hit 9 months, dead stop. Nothing would budge no matter how hard I tried. Figured out later part of it was starvation and part of it was just my body rearchitecting itself (Dr. Macs words). So I upped the calories, modified the exercise to burn a little lest, also switched out the cardio for more weight training, and upped the protein and water. After all this, I finally started to move, but man was it a struggle to get there. The body is super intelligent so you have to get smarter each and every day just to keep ahead of the curve. Keep the diet changing, modify the exercise routine weekly, add a few calories, and keep drinking the H2O. You'll get thru this. We all do. Oh and take the scale and bury it out back. Had I done that, I would have saved myself several weeks of misery. Good luck...

There is a guy on the food and recipe site that has stall buster recipes. They center on the idea of having a lot of protein in any form and cutting out carbs. It seems to me the more weight that you have lost ....the slower the remaining weight comes off and the longer the stalls. But the good part is that at this point the smaller weight loss shows more in inches now. I also agree about the keeping the food diairy to make sure you are folling rules. I think we all go through what you are at different stages of loss.
Stall are the pits! This too will pass.
Good Luck
