I'm so sorry to hear what you're going through right now.  Make sure they know to use the butterfly needles if they are to do an IV on you.  If they can't get it in on the 2nd try, demand someone who is more experienced.  I have a problem with my veins too and with so many surgeries under my belt, that's what I had to do.  I pray things go well for you

Yep I always flag them down when they pull out the Hulk Hogan needle and tell them to use a butterfly.. of course most roll their eyes like I dont know what I am talking about. I also ask them if they are really really really good at this because I have roller veins. Thanks for the hug..Im going to need it!!
