I have to have surgery VENT

Hi everyone,

I found a weird feeling lump in my left breast a few months ago. It freaked me out. We do not have breast cancer in the family at all. I made an appointment with my Doctor and he referred me for a mammogram and a ultrasound. I did that last week. The lady who did the mammogram was very nice. The one who did my ultrasound was the same ***** who did my ultrasound when I was doing my pre op stuff for RNY. I about died when I saw it was her. SHE IS VERY ROUGH and always in a bad mood. I asked for another tech but everyone was already *busy* she started off by saying * your Doctor has it written that the lump is at 3:00 position and its really at 2:00* she said this like four times like it was MY FAULT that he screwed up. She also just dumped the goo on my breast and once again she was rough. She then barked at me *You have implants* YES I DO ***** AND YOUR POINT? is what I wanted to scream.. she said *well now I have to get a special square pad to get a better photo because your implants are hindering it* OMG for those who dont know me I always speak my mind and I did real good biting my tongue. I asked her what she saw on the Ultrasound, *Im not allowed to make a diagnosis* she said. Yes I understand that sugar britches but can you tell me what you see?? *looks like you have a cyst with some *junk* inside* Ok I know NOTHING about cysts and WTF is *Junk inside*??? how unproffesional can you be??

Anyways after that ordeal the Radiologist came out and talked to me. He explained I have two cysts and they do have some fluid in them. He says they appear Benign but they wont know till they run them through Pathology. He booked me with a surgeon and I saw him on Monday. The surgeon said he only felt one cyst but he would go study the ultrasound and xrays again. He told me he could aspirate the fluid and see what is going on or go ahead and remove them. I want them OUT. If I could cut them out with a knife I would. He asked me if I have ever had surgery before LOLOL I pulled up my shirt and showed him my RNY and Gall Bladder Badges He is a sweet Navy Doctor and he put me at ease. I then had to book my surgery.

I go in next Friday the 17th. They went to book my preop and the only thing they had was in June LOL thank god I spoke up and asked if I could possibly please do it today since I was already at the Naval hospital and it was a bit of a hike for me to go back and forth. The lady was very sweet and called down and they got me right in.

I will be worried till I get the report back from Pathology that they are hopefully benign. If one more person says *Oh dont worry about it* I am going to throw a possum in their face. Those who know me know of my horrifyng small veins and the horrible 16 sticks when I had my spinal tap done. That ordeal also landed me two nights in a row at the ER and 12 more sticks to try and get a IV started. I am more worried about the IV then the surgery. I am already giving myself headaches and have major anxiety over the IV start and these dumb cysts. Only two people in all of my procedures have EVER been able to stick me one time,and trust me I have had lots of procedures! Thanks for letting me let it all hang out in this post.... I am looking forward to seeing everyone on Tuesday at Logans and I will have a bunch of size 9 and 10 jeans and shorts if anyone wants them!!!

Baby Veins - first of all  (((HUGS))). OK - vent away my dear, Sometimes talking things out helps. We're all here to listen. I have been fortunate and not had any breast issues (other than rocks in socks syndrome has definetly set in). I have had my share of run ins with ERs and Drs.

Can I ask what the rocks in socks syndrome is?  I have had problems with my feet since 1999 and I've told drs. that it felt like rocks in my socks... lol
