blood work

The home health came out yesterday to draw my blood . MY 6 week appointment is Monday and it was time for my regular doctor to draw my blood so they did both at one time.  My regular doctor called me this morning and of course my potassium is low as usual and I have to up those but my white blood count was also low.  He said to let Dr Cox take care of that Monday.  My question is why did that happen and how do they fix it?  I am just curious I have called the Doctors office to ask these question but of course they aren't there so I thought I would ask you guys.

Hi Leslie,

I don't have an answer for you. Once you get one from your Dr's office, if you feel comfortable doing so, please share.

Leslie,  What did you find out from the dr.'s office?  Have you had a virus lately?  Anxious to hear about the cause and solution!  Hope you're doing well otherwise.  {{{Hugs}}}
