A couple of wows in one!
That's great! I also left the meet-up and went looking for more clothes. I knew that I could wear a 3X, but I decided to try a 2X, just to see. First, I tried on a casual knit 2X dress. It fit GREAT!! Then I tried a 2X top. It fit okay, but a bit clingy around my hips - story of my life. When I went to try on jeans at Catherine's I chose the ones with the extra hip room, then put them on and saw they had TOO much hip room! The attendant's eyes popped out to see how baggy they were around my hips and told me to go with the regular jeans rather than the ones with extra hip room. WOW! Unfortunately, they didn't have my size in that cut. I went away with no jeans. But I did get the 2X dress and two tops that I can wear with one of the only two pairs of pants I have that fit me right now - those khakis I wore at the meet-up Saturday. I really do want to find some jeans I can wear for the next month or so though. I hesitate to order online 'cause I have no idea what will really fit me.
Good news: the scale moved again today!! WOO HOO!!! And since I finished the yearbook last night (another WOO HOO), I won't have to sit on my butt day and night at a desk.

Sounds like you had several wows yourself this weekend! Good for you!!! I was scared to try on any bottoms because that's usually more of a "problem area". I'm wearing my "just L" shirt today and I've had several comments on it already. Of course, I have to say to everyone that there are no Xs on the tag anywhere!!! I have to find some new khakis because the ones I have are bothering me...they slide down and I have to keep yanking on them. My mom told me to get a belt but I haven't worn a belt in years!!! And from what I remember they were never comfortable. May have to try it though. I have a friend who has been passing some of her things on to me (she's started running and losing weight that way). Last night at church she brought me 3 pairs of capris and 2 shirts. One shirt is already too big! I just can't wear capris to work yet...seems to early to start that. The pants I have that fit me the best are my jeans but I don't feel comfortable wearing them to work because the kids can't. They have to wear uniforms so I feel like I need to be dressed a little better. Anyways...maybe I'll find something that work soon. Trying to hold off til I can get into those 16s!!!
