Very happy lady

To my complete shock Lee informed me the other day he was going to start walking in the wee hours of the morning before work.
It is a start and I know all too well you have to start somewhere when trying to get healthier.
I know he is very concerned about how much he smokes and feels walking in the morning instead of playing his game on the pc and smoking will help him.
I am going to keep my mouth shut for once and watch how things unfold for him.

Good for him! My husband starts his days by smoking and playing games on the computer, too! Wish he and I would start walking instead. I start my day not smoking,but reading emails and this forum. Jackie

That is wonderful news Annie.  And like you say, you gotta start somewhere.  Just encourage him and hopfully it will become a lifelong habit! 

Wow That is great news, Annie!  Go for it, Lee!  And just think, another activity you two can do together!

Lee was in the Natinal guard many moons ago and has always gotten up at like 4am sooo I wont be joining him on his early bird walks but I am very happy he is doing this.
BTW I had some pictures taken today so stay tuned for some new pictures.

Oh Annie - I'm so happy to hear this. The first thought that jumped in my head was the little guy from "The Waterboy" - "you can do it!!!" I can just see this little guy cheering him on in the wee morning hours.

Gotta love these men.
