I am 2 months out and my first 50 pounds is gone forever.  I can't believe how good I am beginning to feel.  Already I can reach places on my body that were impossible before......like cutting my toe nails or putting on socks.  I used to have to hold on to the safety bar in the shower to rest my back, or take breaks doing simply household chores.  I can walk without a grocery cart when I shop now.  These may seem like simple feats to some, but they are tremendous to me!!!!

Simple feats, heck...they ARE tremendous!  It's amazing how quickly quality of life improves, isn't it?  Congratulations!

Those WOW moments are incredible. Prior to surgery we all have expectations of what we want our life as a post-op to be like - but some of the simpliest things we just don't seem to realize are going to change and improve. Dramatically. Enjoy each and every one of these occassions.

Have a great day.

Congratulations!  50 pounds gone??  great job!

Each and every victory is something to behold.  I think all of us can understand where you are coming from.... I know I can relate to putting on socks.  And I can now cross my legs with ease!  It feels so good...

Life is great!

Thank you for sharing things like this. This is what I need to hear. I am anticipating surgery this year. Just in the early consults stage. I can't wait to reap some of these benefits.
Congratulations on your 50 lbs gone! Keep up the good work. Jackie

It is not the magnitude of our actions but the amount of love that is put into them that matters.
