Update on whats been going on in my world

Hey everyone! 

I have had a busy week last week!  My big news is I have a referral that it is *medically necessary* for a visit to a plastic surgeon woohoo!! I had to go to the surgery clinic on base to get the go ahead to visit a plastics specialist out in town.  I am hoping to get a full lower body lift and a tummy tuck.  My appointment is next week!!! 

For those of you who do not know me I am trapped in the wrong time period.  I totally adore anything from the 1950s and collect Vintage clothing.  Anyways this weekend I took my 1955 Porsche Spyder to its first car show and I won first place in my class!! I got a nice trophy and $100.00.  I LOVE beating out the guys LOLOLOL 

For the first time in 10 years I was NOT embarressed to walk up in front of a crowd of strangers (90 percent men) to get my award.  I also gave no thought to getting my photo taken, it was a way cool feeling! I was approached by a man who is the president of PCA (Porsche Club of America) he saw my Spyder and asked if I was a member of PCA.  I told him no and we started talking.  For anyone that is going to the Azalea Festival Parade on Saturday, I have been asked to drive my Spyder with the PCA group in the parade.  So me and hubby will be leaving here at the crack of dawn on Saturday to line up and get ready for the big day.  If any of you go, look for the group of Porsches... Conngratulations of first prize. That is terrific. so is the parade and trophy and everything.

Guess what I am reading??? Yup. Twilight. We have the next book at home too. Trevor is reading that one. Still waiting for the official invite for the movie showing at your house. (or mine)

LOL at the sandpaper! I didnt do anything! I went in, sat down, talked to the surgeon, told him the skin was rubbing and giving me rashes and since it was *blocking* my lower area, I was getting lots of yeast infections. He asked to see my stomach and I stood up and said *Ill just drop my pants down so you can see my thighs too* LOL he took one look and said ok we are done OMG I am ALSO reading the series!! I am now on book two!! you dont need a official invite... tell me what is a good night you want to come over and we can watch it!! hubby will go hide with his computer lol

OMG!  I am sooo hooked.  I had to get in on the Twilight conversation.  I saw the movie and now I need to read the book.  Did you hear they are working on the New Moon movie?  I can't wait!  Oh yeah...my surgery is Thursday!  Woo Hoo! 

WAY COOL!!!!  And I am SO jealous about the LBL!!  Keep us posted!

Congratulations on getting the referral for plastics. I look forward to hearing more after your next appointment. You already look like a million bucks, but I'll bet you'll look and feel even better after it's all said and done. It's sort of like winning the lottery and it couldn't have happened to a nicer person.

I wish we were able to come down and cheer you on during the Azalea Festival. I'm sure it will be a blast and the best part will be enjoying it with your best friend right at your side. Have fun my friend!
