I can not believe it!!!!!!!

Hi everyone. Its official. I have been APPROVED!!! OMGoodness, I am excited beyond belief right now. When I called the surgeon's office today I was just calling to see how much protein I should be getting in. To my surprise, they told me I was approved. I can honestly say Iw s not expecting to hear this news right now because I have been told many times that it takes medicaid about a month or more to get back to the surgeon. In my case, it took them 1 week and 2 days. I am excited, nervous and anxious all rolled into one. The first person I told was my husband and he was excited for me as well. Then of course I had to call my second mom Annie, who is on this forum, and she was excited for me too. She said that she has never heard of medicaid approving someone so fast. I am just extremely grateful that they approved me though.
So I had to come on here and let you all know since you guys support me so much and answer all of my questions, no matter how silly they are..lol..
Ok well I am gonna get going and wait for the scheduler to call me today to schedule my visit to see her and the anestesiologist (I know I spelled that wrong) so that I can be told once again that I have to have a trac put in. Thanks everyone for your support. You will never know how much it means to me!!
On a personal note, Annie, you are the best support person I can have and you are a inspiration to me. I hope I can do as good as you have done. Love ya!!

Hang on girlie it will move like wildfire from this point and before you know it you will be 2 months post-op.  I am so happy for you I know you have worked so hard to get here.

Hey that is great news. Congratulations! I remember when I was told I was approved. I was beyond excited. I kept waiting for them to say they made a mistake and take it all back. Of course they didn't and I am now over 3 months out. Good luck and have fun. You won't believe how quickly it all happens now.

Thanks for all of the support you guys. I am still extremely happy and nervous all at the same time. I just keep waiting for the phone to ring and it be the surgeon's office and they tell me that oops it was a mistake and I am not approved yet. I know I am worrying for nothing but when you have waited for so long for this to happen like I have all sorts of things go through your mind. Lets just hope the scheduler calls me today so I know this is for real...lol I will definitely keep you all updated!!
