I now have my psych. appt., my nut. appt., my sleep study appt. and my u/s appt. all scheduled!!!  Had my thyroid level bloodwork done yesterday. WOW...it's really coming together!!!! I'm getting antsy/excited/nervous!!!

Also have a confession to make....I went to Lane Bryant and bought a size 1 (which is roughly a size 14) pair of jeans.....to have a 'goal' pair of jeans! Isn't that silly???? I'm not trying to get teeny tiny but would love to wear the *smallest* LB pants/jeans or even size down/out of LB!!! Corny maybe but I DID IT!!! They're tucked away in my closet!!!

Yep, it's really happening!  This is such an exciting time....but not as exciting as it will be when those size 1 LB jeans are falling off your body!  And it will happen...sooner than you think!
Not silly at all to have some "goal" clothes.  I have some size 8s hanging in my closet for inspiration....not sure if they'll ever fit, but it's a nice dream!

Good luck as you begin your journey!

Thank you for the well wishes.
I just can't imagine myself in a size 14, and certainly not smaller! Seems like I've been a 26/28 forever.

I am in the very same boat. Size 26/28 here also. All my appts are lined up as well. I go for endoscopy this week, which I am a little nervous about. But at least that means things are progressing nicely towards my surgery date. Haven't bought the jeans  yet. Although I will admit, I was browsing the racks in the normal size dept. LOL. I thought to myself "Is it really possible that I may be able to wear something that size?" Being overweight my whole life, I have always treated clothes shopping like a major chore. I hope this changes. I want to enjoy clothes shopping. Good luck to both of us!

Hey girls - those 14's will fit in no time. !!!!!!!!!!! I was in 24/26 at the beginning of this journey. I wear 16's in just about everything right now. For my birthday last week I was given 2 pairs of shorts (16's) that I have to take back THEY"RE TOO BIG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have never taken clothes back because they were too big!!!! I love, love, love, love my RNY!!!

LOL... i always keep a couple of pair of jeans in my closet that are too small... try them on every couple of weeks... i know they'll fit eventually... then it will be time to buy a smaller size!!!
