I've got that stuckin' feeling....

I had chicken for dinner tonight about 2 and a half hours ago. I decided to have a small protein drink before bed and found that I seem to be stuck? I don't think this has happened to me before in the whole six months since my surgery. Boy am I miserable right now. Maybe I didn't chew right or something. Or maybe I had a couple of bites more than I should have. Whatever it is 'The Bean isn't having it. I even got my first foamies. These are definitely firsts I can do without. I hope that stuck feeling goes away soon. I need to get to sleep so I can work bright and early tomorrow. Thanks for letting me vent a bit about it.

I know what you mean.  It's been happening to me lately.  Got sick yesterday and today.  Now I just don't want to eat.  Imagine me not wanting to eat.  WOW!  The only way I can fix that is to just go .  Hope things get better for you.

I can't imagine myself notwanting to eat either. But I do actually feel that way sometimes since surgery. For the most part though I haven't had the misfortune of food disagreeing with me like that chicken did last night. It was kinda dry the way it was cooked so next time I will cook it instead of letting DH cook it LOL!

Ann,

I am 2 years out and still can not tolerate chicken breast.  You may want to purchase some papaya emzyme to help break it down if it happens again.  I was told that the chicken breast itself may be too dry a meat for me to tolerate, because it is very tender and moist but will not stay down.  I am very fortunate (or maybe unfortunate) but mine comes back up in less than an hour if my pouch says "No way" to anything.

Hope you are feeling better today.

I haven't even attempted chicken breast yet and we have as a family found that we all prefer the skinless boneless chicken thighs from costco. Less expensive and much more moist usually depending how its cooked. DH made a stirfry with it last night and it was definitely dryer than how it usually turns out when I cook with it.
