Hi Lady,

It's nice to meet you and I look forward to getting to know you. I'm only 21 months out and have experienced about a 5 to 10 lb regain from my lowest weight, so while I can tell that I'm gong to have to be very careful, I don't have direct experience with the regain you are experiencing. If you haven't talked with your surgeon yet, I'd give him a call to see if he can work with you and your psych. to see if they can find some solutions that won't cause you to gain. I'm sure that it's a multi-faceted issue, but it's one that my Dr has warned me about as I also take anti-depressants and am aware that many can cause weight gain. As I'm sure you are aware, it's so important to have our mental health as well as our physical health. I'm sure that you will be able to find a way to strike the balance.

Wishing  you all the best,

Barbara

Hello!  I'm sorry you're having problems with regain, a lot of us seem to go through this.  I regained about 25 lbs and have struggled with loosing it, I've lost about 5 so far.  Anyway, I've been going to the WLS graduates board, they have a lot of people in the same boat as us.  I hope you'll check it out.  I basically have been going back to the basics as much as possible and I've started walking again.  I think my main problem was that I went from being Single and living in San Diego where there are so many good food choices at your fingertip, to moving here where everything is fried, there's gravy or whatever...  I'm not moving as much and I'm engaged to a wonderful man who is a meat and potato man (with the gravy... lol).  Anyway, enough of that.  I wish you the best of luck!
