OMG Carrie gave me a pair of jeans yesterday at the meetup.
As soon as I got home I had to go try them.
When I looked at the pants I thought no way could I wear them they just looked to small.
Have you ever noticed how when you look at clothes your mind tells you it will fit or not?
I did want to tell you all about a funny thing the other day with me at work.
I agree depending on how clothes are cut/made may or may not change the size.
My new pants for work fit great but a little snug in the waist but not to where it is cutting off circulation.
At the end of the day I went by the restroom before leaving for home.
The way I buttoned my pants that morning was to lay down on the bed LOL
Well here I was in the bathroom and relized I had to button the pants back up before leaving.
OMG I had vision of having the lie one floor just to button the pants.
I decided nope I wasnt going to lie on that floor.
So being a determined person that I am I said to myself I AM GOING TO BUTTON THESE DARN PANTS.
I got them buttoned and then left.
I told Lee about it and he sad I am probally not the only woman that lies on the bed to button her pants.

Congradulations Annie!!
I know what you mean by looking a pants. I keep picking up sizes to large. I own a 15 and a 14 but the 14 is tight. 16s are a loose and fall off if I don't wear a belt.  I still wear some 18's but the but is way to big and indead a bel is a must. Annie aint we come a long way.  If I ever make it to a comphy 14, I will be one happy lady. Heck..... I was happy to wear a 22 and every other size just so long as they were getting smaller.

You are a winner at being a looser.

You are definitely NOT the only woman to lay on the bed so that she could button her pants. But, I am glad that you didn't have to lay down on the bathroom floor!

Thxs for letting me know I am not the only one having to do this.
In fact the legs and butt are a little baggy.
The next size I think where ever I am they will surly have to call the EMT's

If you must lay on the floor to button your pants - make sure to moan and act like you're in total agony so if someone comes in they'll think you've fallen and hurt yourself. (Preserve the dignity this way)

My Mom and I went Thrifting Saturday morning. It was awesome. I'd pick up something that caught my eye and she'd just look at me and roll her eyes - "That's too big for you" OMG!!!!! It was the truth. I ended up bringing 6 outfits home. Everything was a size 16 and they were all different brands - everything  - EVERYTHING (do you hear me - I said EVERYTHING) fit perfectly.

My closet is full. Oh what a beautiful sight. Plus I only spent $40 - how great is that?

Congratulations on the 16's. WLS is the way to go.

Blessed are the flexible for they shall not be bent out of shape.
