3-month check-up and a WOW

Hey y'all!  Yesterday I went to see Dr. Chapman in Greenville for my 3-month follow up.  He was very pleased with my progress and said I was right on track.  Apparently my blood work has been coming back okay.  I asked why I hadn't heard about any of the results from that and was told that they would notify me if they found any problems from my lab work.  Dr. Chapman did say that I should expect my weight loss to start slowing down - maybe 10 lbs a month.  I can live with that.  I shared my weight loss web site with him and he suggested I share it at the next Greenville support group meeting.  But y'all can see it any time.  It's the web site that's part of my signature below.  I've shared it with y'all before.  

After my appointment I went shopping at Catherine's in Greenville.  Anybody else like to shop there?  After losing over 100 lbs I thought it was high time I bought a few new pieces.  I had to keep trying on smaller and smaller sizes before I finally got a fit!  I had no idea I'd lost that many sizes!!  I was amazed!!!  The girl at Catherine's was great too.  She was very helpful.  This past summer I was barely getting into a 5X for pants.  In fact, most of my pants were 6X (42-44) drawstring pants.  Yesterday I fit into a size 26!!  That's eight sizes smaller!!  In all I bought a 3-piece outfit, a cute shirt, khaki pants, and 2 new bras.

THAT IS AWESOME!!!! Congrats!!! I'll soon be on the loosing side come April 9th!! IM SO EXCITED!!! And reading posts like yours just keeps me motivated!!!! I too have been seeing Dr. Chapman!! He's great aint he??!! Have you been to the greenville support group meetings?? I dont think i've seen you?? Well You take care and ENJOY that size 26 pant mamas!!! Keep up the good work!!!

I haven't been to any of the Greenville meetings yet because on a school night (I'm a teacher) it's hard for me to work that in.  I have to drive from New Bern.  I've been to one of the Jacksonville gatherings at Logan's.  Jacksonville is a little closer to me than Greenville is.  I do plan to attend the April 4th Saturday meeting at McAllisters in Greenville at 11:30.  Who hosts that? 

Hi there - congrat's on the shopping trip. The MacAllister's meetup is folks from a bunch of different doctors and we're in all different stages of the journey. You'll love it. It's pretty much a social thing - but it's a great group of folks. Can;t wait to meet you.
