OT - The other shoe has finally dropped.
We have been well aware that this was coming but know we know for sure. My DH came home early from work carrying his box o' stuff. His layoff is official. The good news is he has already begun his plan of action and as soon as he can he will do all the stuff he is supposed to do. He does pretty much have to wait until Monday of course but we have the weekend together. And now he can start sleeping on my schedule for a change. (He has been on the night shift since he started this job LOL!)

I'm sorry this is happening to you and your DH. Seems like everywhere you turn, people are getting laid off. I really hope things start turning around soon. It really scares me to see how bad this economy is affecting everyone. Hang in there and I hope y'all are able to find some positive blessings in all this.
