Just had to tell ya

I have finished my first day at my new job and I stood for 5 hours and 45 minutes today.
No back pain and I feel alive for the first time in a long time..
I know that my workingout has helped me do things today I could never do before.
I carried trays of cake, cheese, cold cuts in and out of the deli today went and found customers about certain products.
I needed this job even tho it is one day a week it showed me I CAN do this.
I loved working today and the best part was going home to find my DH had dinner ready for me and even had candles going when I walked in to the house.
I know my WLS was so worth it.
I could go on and on about how grateful I am for making the choice to improve my life.
I havent had my full intake of calories today but there will be tomorrow,
If I had not had WLS there might not of been a tomorrow.

Annie,
I am so proud of you! I know that you have worked very hard to lose the weight and you should celebrate what happened today with you being able to stand for almost 6 hours. OMGoodness, I know if I was to do that I would be hurting so bad. I can't even stand up an hour before I start hurting. I just hope that when I ever do have my gastric bypass surgery that I do as well as you have. You are my inspiration and I know that you have taken me under your wing. You are just like a second mom to me and I am so very very proud of you. Love ya Annie!!

Hi LInda,
Thxs for your kind words.
I do remember the pain you talk about when standing for a short time.
In fact I hope I never forget that pain so I can always remember what life was like for someone who weighed in the 600's
Lee and I are going to my friends wedding on Saturday night and can you belive this my mother said she would look in her closet for a top for me to wear.
So this morning we are going to try and release Red again we both feel he is ready to fly now and after that I am going to my mom's house to look for clothes.
I know now I needed to let my Rosie go so I could move ahead with my life she would of wanted that for me.

That my friend says so very much about how grateful I am for this surgery. I'm so glad that you had a good day. Tell Lee that I'm delighted to hear he can cook (in and out of the kitchen - lol). The candles were a very, very nice touch.

Enjoy another beautiful day.

Thxs Iris,
I know you love to cook also and since I am a fan of Hell's Kitchen I found I can totally relate to Chef Ramsey LOL
Yesterday I was giving out samples of organic gala apples too.
The boy in produce cut them for me and when he brought them to my table I looked at them and though no way am I serving these huge slices of apples LOL
I told the manager it is all about presentation LOL
I made some changes to the apples and made them more bite size friendly.
I also told Lee what ever he cooked for me had to be by pass friendly LOL he cooked some chicken stir fry and I  said no rice for me I was very happy with the chicken and veggies.

Hi Ruby,
I feel it is very important to share my experinces in a public forum like this to maybe help touch someone else who struggling with morbid obesity.
Now if could just learn to turn back the hands of time and get some of my younger years back.
I feel so good right now I do not feel like a woman who will be 50 in May.
I feel alive I think for the first time in a long time.
