Weight loss stalls
I'm not sure if your high weight is also your surgery weight, but if it is, you are going GANG BUSTERS! Even if it isn't I must say that I felt as though I was losing very slowly. It looks like our weights are similar and that would put you in what is often called the 'lightweight' category... who'd have thought that, huh?! At any rate, while we actually are losing at a decent rate, it doesn't much feel like it.
I think that my 'average' weight loss when I was about at the point you are was about 3 lbs a week. I hit two stalls in my first 6 to 8 weeks and thought I was doomed to failure. As you can see, that's not the case. So, stay with your surgeons program. Be sure that you are getting in enough, protien and calories. My program wanted us to get in an average of 900 calories a day. One of the things I noticed was that when I stalled and checked my daily intake, it often fell in the 400 to 500 calorie range, not enough to keep those ole' fires burning. Apparently, our bodies literally downshift our metabolisms if we aren't getting enough and it moves into something called starvation mode where is tries like heck to concerve all of those precious fat reserves we are working so very hard to rid ourselves of...
Stay the course, it will come off and to be honest, as long as you are getting in the requisite protien, calories and hydration, there isn't much you can do. Even exercise won't make a signficant difference, but you should be exercising. It will help keep your metabolism firing, and more than that, it will help you make the life-style changes necessary in the long run to help you keep off that weight you are working so hard to get rid of now.
Wishing you all the best,

I have lost a total of 24 pounds with lap band surgery.
Like Barbara said make sure you are getting your protein in and getting the right calories in.
I have started logging again and realized I was getting used to having the surgery and was eating a little more than I should.
Yesterday I also realized I was not getting enough water in also.
Write down everything you are eating and see if how you are eating. If you are not exercising then this might help also.
Stalls are stalls. Sometimes no matter what we do we are just in a stall. Stay with your dietician/clinics rules and the SWOOSH Fairy will come soon and you will see the weight coming off again.
