I just had to share

My husband and I bought me a bike today-I have not been on a bike since I was 9 yrs old--lol  It has rained all weekend and it stopped today for about 5 minutes and I took the bike outside-got on it and was wobbly at first and then I felt like I was a child-riding like the wind and nothing stopping me-I giggled and laughed as I peddled trying to find the gear that made me work out-I found it and then it started raining again--I did not care-I kept riding and it was fantastic--When I got home my husband said I looked real good riding and I told him I feel a bike-a-holic coming on.  I believe that has been the funnest exercise I have done on forever!! 
I just wanted to share because it is hard trying to find an exercise that you enjoy and don't get bored doing-hopefully this will be a morning/evening adventure!!

I wish you lived closer. I have been eyeing my bike in the garage for about a week now. The weather has not been the greatest and I have put it off but I really love riding it. I have not riden it for about 10 yrs. I can't wait to get back on it! Hopefully this week. Have fun!

I wanna ride too!!!! My youngest son bought me a beach cruiser as a combination Christmas & Birthday present and I can't wait for the weather to break so I can start riding again.

 NC biker gang huh, i love riding my bike too.. I have a beach bike as well.. 
My little boy and I will get out in the cul-de-sac and ride around like crazy, or i'll roller blade while he rides, he's only 5 so he gets a bit tired if we go to far..
Congrats on the bike, i hope spring is near,and not another winter...

Thanks guys for your responses--I wish you all lived closer we could ride until we had to go home--(you know when it gets dark--lol)  Everyone take care and have a great bike ride when the weather gets better!!
