OT: TGIF & Weekend Plans

TGIF !!

Oh what a long week it's been. The time change in the Spring always messes up my internal clock so I'm dragging butt. The weekend weather is supposed to be Nasty here on the coast. Guess we'll be playing Wii and puttering around the house.

Does anybody have any great plans for the weekend?

Hope everyone has a great day. 5 o'clock can't get here soon enough for me.

Not for this weekend much. I have to work tomorrow afternoon. I will go see the movie The Watchmen but that's about it. Next weekend is the biggie. That's when the next Raleigh meetup is and I always do that.

I agree with it being a long week, and I am glad it is over although that means the end of my husbands vacation time with it. This weekend we might go to a theater if something good is playing at the ones we go to, and we will be doing more cleaning and unpacking.

I wish I did have some weekend plans. It is supposed to be cold and rainy here too. I want the wii fit for my birthday. We can't find it anywhere. I should tell DH to get it online. We could always Wii bowl or play a rousing game of Wii baseball, right?

I got mine at Target online and they had the bundle with the balance board for Wii fit. I love it. It came in within a week/ I think I ordered it on Thursday last week and it came in on Tuesday of this week. David's kids are going to love it. I can't wait to get home and play.

I do! I do! I have great weekend plans.

I'm doing laundry, cooking, cleaning, paying bills and balancing checkbooks.
OOOH! I am SOOOOOOOOOO excited!!! Oh, and don't forget cleaning the cat box.

I know - you want my life...but don't hate!

I had big plans but now that it's raining I don't have much going on. Rex, my Dad and my Brother are going fishing in the morning (while I sleep... I work nights - ugh)! After that they're coming over to my house to play some cards (I just found out about this...). Sunday after Church we're going to visit Rex' Mom and Dad then relax. I'm glad to be off this weekend but I wi**** were nicer - I"m ready to work on my garden!

This has been one of the longest weeks of my life! I don't know if you remember or not, but I posted I was losing my job. I applied for another internal position and found out on Wednesday that even though I blew them out of the water in my interview that they gave the job to someone who had less experience because they'd been with the company longer. What a kick in the rear. So yeah, it's been long and hard since then. I had to pack my office yesterday, and that was so sad. Now I'm unemployed. And for the weekend, I was thinking I should clean house, do laundry, etc. But if I do it all today, what will I do next week? Better I should pace myself.... LOL I'm sure next week I will be looking for a job. I sure do hate this weather though....
