That doc was so far off base, she can't even see it anymore! I would seriously report her to someone in the hospital. I don't know how it works there, but here at West Point there is a patient satisfaction department..What a *****!
Girl, call the Patient Affairs Officer at the hospital and let them have it. They are very good at handling personnel like that. I know it for a fact. I also know if you do not complain then it will continue with other people!

I'm with Darcy, she needs the Firing Squad!
But seriously, I do hope you follow up with her superiors. Think about what she says to the overweight women who have not embarked on this journey, and heaven forbid have to face the evil Dr. Killpatient after gaining weight. At least you are making awesome progress and have hope and know you will succeed. Don't let her get away with it. I'd file a written complaint and demand an apology (and 150 push ups)
Oh, and if you ever see her again before you are all slim and trim, tell her you might still be overweight, but you WILL loose the weight, but she can never wash off ugly!

Let me guess, she was a civilian contractor? I sure hope she wasn't active duty. But as already so eleoquently stated above (Darcy and Vera) call the patient affairs, and follow that up with a letter. She is obviously either jealous or ignorant ( or both). I wonder if she says things like that to women whose birth control failed? Or whos blood sugars are running high, or well you get my drift.
Your doing great, any faster and you'd feel bad probably. Your surgeon is the only one who has the right to comment on your weight loss, and I'll bet he'll be pleased!
