Bragg area

anyone in the fort bragg area getting the surgery? Looking for a support person someone who i can talk to and go to the classes with. 

Hey I don't know about the Ft Bragg surgeries, but I had mine with Dr Davidson at Village Surgical-I would be glad to talk with you and support you-you can ask me anything and I would be glad to help. Have you had your surgery scheduled yet? or are you just starting your journey with the education seminar?--I had my surgery on 9-19-08 but I started this journey in late May-it too****il August before I was approved.  Let me know if I can help you in anyway.

 Hey thanks for the reply. I have been approved and all that, I just got done with all my labs and the psych stuff. so I only have 1more education class to go to and 2 more support classes to go to then they will schedule the surgery. I am wanting to get the sleeve one done, the others just are not apealing to me. 

Hi! I just had my RNY surgery at Ft. Bragg on 2/24 and things went great. I will be happy to be your buddy. After you finish your classes things move really fast. My surgeon was Dr. St. Jean and he is awesome!!! I really liked him alot. I am always here if you have questions or want a buddy to sit with at the meetings. I go to the post op support group, but I sometimes I still go to the pre-op ones too because there is always such good information. Keep in touch!!

I am at Bragg and hoping to be getting my sleeve done soon.  I finished everything they wanted and go on Friday to meet with Heather yet again for her to finally sign off now that she has spoken to my counselor, etc.  My only worry at this moment is that we went to Disney and I am not sure what I will weigh in as when they weigh me on Friday since I wasn't able to stick to my normal eating when we didn't have a microwave or anything.
Are you going to the educational meeting?  It is Wednesday evening, right?

I know you , we traded the soap lol. Yes I am going to the meeting this wed, its at 5:30. I will prolly end up sitting on the right side of the room. I have finally gotten everything done too  just need to get these classes done I wish they did more then once a month. I am wanting the sleeve done too. Its the best option for me.

Can I ask a stupid question? One of the requirements for surgery on Bragg is the "online certificate". Where???? I have kept meticulous notes on everything they have told us EXCEPT that.....apparently.
