Wow what a wow!

Woman!! What are you doing shopping in the plus size??? LOL 
I am in a 16 now, not brave enough yet to try 14, but I wouldn't be surprised. But let me tell you, when I went into Belk a few months back and realized that the plus size 1X were TOO BIG, I did not know how to act!!! I went over to the regular size clothes and was overwhelmed because the section is literally like 1/2 the store and I didn't know where to start!!! I felt so outta place, but knowing that I was in the right place!! It is still hard for me to not want to go browse the plus size clothing!!
I bought 2 paper bags full of maternity clothes about a month ago from a friend, they were 1X and XL pants and shirts and shorts and the pants and shorts are TOO BIG!!!!! NO WAY can my big bootay fit in Large's!! Well I went to TJ Maxx a few weekends ago and walked out of there with a size L denim capris..SUPER CUTE!!! I was not far behind you, coming from 30 pants and size 4x shirts, now I literally wear XL shirts, and even have a L here and there and 16 jeans, that are getting baggy along with size Large pants and shorts...It is just insane...LOL I don't know where the hell my "big bootay went" but it is not following me anymore...and I just cannot get over the fact that I need to literally "kiss my a$$ goodbye" cuz it ain't there no more~hahahah!!!
SO I TOTALLY know what you are going through!!! I am going to be sooo sad to say goodbye to Lane Bryant, she has been my friend for many years and I will miss her!! BUT i do love thier Bras and Panties, so they haven't seen the last of me..LOL
CONGRATS ON SUCH AN AMAZING WOW MOMENT!!!!!!!

Hey Jami! Yeah I havent tried on a 14 yet either. When those didnt fit yesterday I just left the store. My back was hurting and I could tell my husband and 3 yr old had had enough of shopping with me. I plan on going alone this weekend. Dare I try some 14s?? Wooohoo I think I might even venture into the juniors dept. Heaven forbid! I ain't never been in there. I do know that I can wear large shirts though.I have one here at home that I had give to my mother in law for Christmas and she gave it back because she said it was too little for her. Since my hernia surgery I tried it on for the heck of it and it fit! Shopping is becoming a whole new experience! And I must say I like it! I really really like it! LOL See ya Tuesday!

I know you must be so happy and exicted. That is amazing. I can't wait until I hit those sizes. I have no idea of what I am going to wear this summer. I guess it is shopping for me too. Have fun at the races and keep up the great work.

Hey Sandra! Thanks and it wont belong before you see them sizes. I honestly never thought I would.  And I am amazed at the fact that I may still lose more weight. My doctor told me I would probably still be losing at 18 months since I started out so big. The thought of a 12 is simply ridiculous to me. But who knows. See ya Tuesday!

Woo hoo girl!  Congratulations!  Welcome out of the women's department!!!!  It's a wonderful feeling I know....  Hey, now you can buy clothes anywhere!  You were wearing about the same size I was at my biggest...  pants 38 and shirts 5x...  I hope you kept a set, you'll be amazed - pull them out if you did save a set and just look at them.  I started crying the first time I did that.  Then my best friend and I put them on, her in one leg and me in the other - both of us in my shirt...  Started crying again.  Anyway, Congratulations again!  Keep up the great work and I hope to see you at the next meetup at Logan's on the 10th!

Hey Sheryl! Thanks.  Yes I did keep a set of clothes. I havent gotten them out yet though. I wanted to wait til I seen Onederland but I may not wait that long. I hope I can fit in one leg of them!. This simply is an amazing tool we have. See ya Tuesday

Congradulations Melissa!

That is so awesome! I am so happy that you are going to things now and that you feel comfortable is your own skin. I think the social isolation is one of the worse parts of obesity. I can't begin to count all the events/paties I've missed because of feeling self conscious.
My surgery is scheduled for St Patricks Day, and I can't wait to join you in this journey back to living a full and rewarding life!

Congratualtions!!! It's amazing when we move into the smaller sizes and can't even fit into anything in the stores we 'had' to shop in. It took a while for my head to catch up to that and even today, I'll find myself wandering over to the plus size department when I'm shopping.
