Wow what a wow!
I just wanted to share a wow moment I had today. My family and I are going to Florida next week for drag races in Gainesville. I told my husband that I needed to buy a few clothing items to wear see'ins how everything I wore last summer is too big. So we went to Sears today and I went to the Women's(plus) size area and found a couple pair of capris I wanted. I tried on an 18 in one pair and a 16 in another. Guess what?!??!?! THEY WERE TOO BIG!!!! The 18's were like a mile too big. And the 16s fit but were big on me. They had a piece of stretchy material on the back of the waist so I think that is why they fit me a little better than the 18s.But I am pretty sure that if they had been straight waisted pants(i.e. no stretchy) they would have been too big too. It is simply amazing. One year ago I was still wearing 32/34. I was wearing 4x/5x shirts. Now, NOW 16s are baggy!!! It was so amazing to feel that. I dont think I have ever worn smaller than a 16. I remember as a kid wear 14 plus little girls then going to 16 women's. I have shopped at Lane Bryant and such stores since I was in the 8th grade. I am simply overwhelmed. I am so happy I chose to have RNY.

By the way this is my first time ever going to a professional drag race. I never would go with my DH before because I was afraid I wouldnt be able to walk all around the track or that people would look at "the fat girl".
