Need Prayers: Major Surgery

Hey people, I am scheduled for double knee replacement on 3-24-09. Dr. Springer with Ortho Carolina will be doing this. I will be at CMC Mercy in Charlotte. I have been needing this for years.I am finally down to 200 lbs give or take 2lbs. Pray for a successful surgery, no complications and that I will not gain any weight back while out of work for 3 mos. Thanks .

Hi Tameria,

My daughter had major knee surgery, so I know that it can be a difficult surgery, but I also know that it will be worth it in the end. If it makes you feel any better, she lost weight after her surgery... Not a bad side 'benefit.'

good luck with your up coming surgery. I know after I recovered from my hip replacement in 2000 I felt so much better. The pain was gone and I could do so much more. I wish you you a speedy pain free recovery.
